J & R Electronics, established in 1975 by Jim and Ron Hinkle, as a father/son team. We formed the company in order to become an authorized dealer for Dictaphone Corporation. Larry Hinkle joined the company in 1981, and currently serves as Director of Technical Support.
Ron became the sole proprietor in 1987. The following year, J & R Electronics, moved its operation into a new office complex and is still the current location today.
